The Process
The Process
1. You - decide on what you want.
2. You - find out if the domain name is available.
3. You - complete the boxes in our application form
4. You - complete the transaction in our shopping basket and checkout
areas.
5. We - purchase the domain on your behalf
6. We - await Registration of the domain after purchase
7. We - create the hosting account
8. We - issue instruction on setting up and accessing your new email
account(s).
Over to you then. Make that decision then use our domain name checker to
see if the domain is available. Order quickly, just in case someone takes
your domain name in between your checking it and us purchasing it for you.
We refer you specifically to our
Terms and Conditions - for any domain name
related purchases there can be no refunds as we immediately purchase the
domain on your behalf.
What happens if you already have your own domain? That will depend on
whether or not you are already using that domain to host a website. If so,
then ask your website provider/designer/ISP to set up an email address for
you at that domain. If you have simply parked your domain hoping to be
able to use it at some stage in the future, then that time has
probably just arrived!!! Transfer the domain to
us, (usually a .co.uk can be transferred for FREE) and we will then take
control and allocate appropriate email accounts to it. Once the domain is
transferred to us, it remains in our control for the duration - you will
need to pay us renewal costs when the domain becomes due for renewal.
On deciding what is allowable - please remember that this is your official
presence on the web - your email address is what you are - that can often
be the only thing that gives that vital first-impression. So, don't be
silly - unless you are specifically looking to be silly! And don't be
illegal or obscene. We will not necessarily monitor this on your behalf -
it is your responsibility to maintain email accounts and domain names
within reason.
Remember - you never get a second chance to make a first impression.
